Meet Our Team
John Francis
President
John serves as the company’s primary ambassador, cultivating healthy relationships between The Harrington Company and its clients, especially through building and maintaining strong connections to association leadership. He also oversees the day-to-day operations of The Harrington Company, including human resources, facilities management and corporate and client financial reporting.
John graduated cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a double major in Financial Management and Economics. He has served multiple terms on the board of directors of the Association Management Companies Institute (AMCi) since 1998, and will assume the presidency in February 2008. John is also an active member of both the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Midwest Society of Association Executives (MSAE).
John is a seasoned outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, downhill skiing, camping and traveling with his family.
Gretchen Huetteman
Senior Account Executive
Gretchen currently serves as Administrator for the Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA) and Administrator for the Aircraft Builders Council, Inc. (ABC). Her responsibilities include board, committee and membership communications, newsletter and program promotional production, and conference planning. Previously, she served as Chapter Administrator for the Institute of Real Estate Management for nine years.
Prior to joining The Harrington Company, she gained broad association experience as the assistant director at the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association and the membership coordinator with the Society of Behavioral Medicine.
Gretchen received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Journalism from the University of Northern Iowa, where she held a seat on the Board of Student Publications and acted as assistant features editor for the Northern Iowan. She is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. Gretchen enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters as well as jogging, hiking, cooking, and antiquing.
Tony LeClerc
Senior Account Executive
Since 1989, Tony has teamed with numerous not-for-profit organizations including state associations and international societies to define and achieve objectives. Tony achieved his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 2003 and the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 1996 and is one of a few nationwide association executives to hold both designations. Currently working as Executive Director for the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, a 950-member state commercial real estate association, and the Captive Insurance Companies Association, a 450-member international insurance association, Tony and his team works with boards & volunteers to maximize efficiencies and results.
Tony has served as a board member and treasurer of the Midwest Society of Association Executives, is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and has attended the Institute for Organizational Management at the University of Notre Dame. Tony is a graduate of the Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Studies.
Tony volunteered for many years with CornerHouse, an inter-agency organization supporting children who are coming out of abusive situations and was honored with their Sweetheart for Kids award.
Karen Wesloh
Senior Account Executive
Karen has been employed by The Harrington Company since 1992. She is currently the Executive Director for the Polycom User Group, an international association with members in 27 countries. Karen’s business and marketing background enable her to take an active role in the development of the associations she manages. Prior to joining The Harrington Company, she held positions with IDC International and Big Brothers and Sisters.
Karen graduated cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Economics. She also received her Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Strategic Management from The Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where she focused on non-profit management.
Karen obtained the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2005. She is a member of American Society of Association Executives, the Midwest Society of Association Executives, the AMC Institute, and the Professional Convention Management Association. In her free time, Karen enjoys home improvement projects, gardening, kayaking, frisbee golf and traveling with her husband.
Judie Harrington- Carlisle
Director of Marketing and Senior Account Executive
Judie joined The Harrington Company in 1992 and focuses on new business development, corporate marketing and client transitions, and new association formations. She also works with the Arizona Captive Insurance Association and the World Captive Forum.
Judie has a background in real estate law, real estate development, and property management. She also owned her own property and association management firm that worked with several cooperative housing associations. Judie assists our President with internal operations, accreditation filings for the firm, organizational tasks, and other special corporate initiatives.
Judie is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and its Midwest Chapter, as well as the AMC Institute. She enjoys hiking, whitewater rafting, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Tyler.
Mary Deinken
Controller
Mary joined The Harrington Company in 2003. Her primary responsibilities include all client accounting functions, such as financial reporting, banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable and budgets. She also provides contracted auditors with information needed to complete a tax return, audit or compilation at year-end.
Prior to joining The Harrington Company, Mary acted as accountant and office manager for a branch of the Green Mill restaurant chain. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis. She is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. Mary enjoys traveling, reading and camping in her free time.
David Krejci
Senior Account Executive
David has over 25 years of association executive experience in strategic planning, governance, organization and operations management. Since 1987, he has served as the Executive Vice President and Secretary of the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS). As their chief staff executive officer, David supports the volunteer leadership service of its executive committee and board of directors. He also manages their government relations and strategic alliances with grain industry trade associations, professional organizations and universities to collaborate in the development and delivery of programs and services. David joined the GEAPS' staff team in 1982 as its director of technical services, responsible for the association’s government relations and industry standards in environmental quality, facility security, grain quality management, and occupational health and safety; association management services he continues to provide.
David is a member of the American Society of Associations Executives, the Midwest Society of Association Executives and the Agricultural Association Executives Council, for which he has also served as a board director and officer. Other association affiliations include the National Conference on Weights and Measures and the National Fire Protection Association. David received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN, as well as a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN.
David volunteers quality time to church and school leadership organizations. He also enjoys pursuing his professional interest in design as a licensed architect and certified interior designer.
Marlene Abels
Account Executive
Marlene is currently an Account Executive for the AgentsofAmerica.ORG (AOA) and the Minnesota Nano Technology (MN Nano). She is charged with the responsibility of being the primary contact for these clients, identifying and developing their needs, including meeting planning and content management of the websites.
She has held various positions in her career in the hospitality and travel industries. Prior to joining The Harrington Company, she worked with the University of Minnesota Campus Club, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and AAA Travel. The diversity of these industries has given her the ability to meet the needs of her clients in every aspect of managing the account.
Marlene graduated from South-Central College (Mankato, MN) with an Associates degree in Sales and Marketing. She enjoys spending time at her lake house in Wisconsin as well as buying and fixing up other homes.
Colleen Ayers
Account Executive
Colleen currently serves as the Assistant Director for the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, a professional association for individuals in the commercial real estate industry. In this role she is responsible for coordinating many areas of the organization’s day-to-day operations.
Colleen manages NAIOP’s chapter communications including an award-winning bi-monthly printed newsletter, a monthly e-newsletter, and the chapter website. She works closely with the volunteer Communications Committee to create and maintain a consistent and relevant message. She also works extensively with the Membership, Sponsorship, and Community Enhancement Committees to attract and retain members, raise funds for chapter operations and charitable giving, and plan volunteer and networking opportunities for the chapter’s members. Colleen also serves as the Executive Director of Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women (MNCREW), the local branch of the CREW Network.
Colleen is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. She graduated summa cum laude from Lawrence University (Appleton, WI) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art. She has also earned a Certificate in Graphic Design from Academy College (Bloomington, MN). She enjoys knitting, traveling, and exploring the urban landscape.
Amber Bahn
Account Executive
Amber is the Assistant Director for The Harmonie Group, an independent association of 58 international defense law firms. The Harmonie Group is an invitation-only network of elite and vetted law firms providing defense services to corporations, TPAs, insurance companies, RRGs, and captives. Amber’s primary responsibilities include financial management, Board & Executive Director communication, meeting organization & registration, contract negotiation, member communications, database management, and direct support of the Executive Director.
Amber is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. She graduated cum laude from Augustana College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with Music and Government minors. She is an accomplished piano player who has been playing since age seven.
Amanda Barthel
Assistant Account Executive
Amanda serves as the Membership Coordinator for the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI). Her primary duties include a variety of membership activities, advertising placement, certification exam administrator, conference registration, and database management.
Amanda graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a double major in Leadership Management and Communications. While in college she helped plan a silent auction for a local non-profit that raised over $20,000. She was also an active student member of the International Special Event Society (ISES), where she assisted with the annual awards event. Her previous work experience includes marketing and business development for a credit union, and on-site event coordination with the Science Museum of Minnesota. In her free time she enjoys attending concerts, traveling, reading, baking, scrapbooking, and watching football.
Emily Bourne
Assistant Account Executive
Emily serves as Assistant Director for The Harmonie Group, a national network of defense attorneys. Her responsibilities include supporting conference planning and registration, member communications, and database management.
Emily received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in Journalism and English and a minor in Business. During and after college, she held a variety of internships in publishing, public relations, educational programming and marketing and worked as a reporter for an independent student-run newspaper. Emily is a Wisconsin native and an avid Badger fan.
J.R. Burke
Director of Government Affairs
J.R. works with the National Association of Home Inspectors, Inc. (NAHI), where he oversees direct lobbying efforts, legislative and regulatory monitoring, grassroots advocacy, government affairs communications and stakeholder relations. Additionally, J.R. serves as Director for MN Nano, an association that promotes nantechnology in Minnesota.
Prior to his joining The Harrington Company, J.R. served as Deputy Press Secretary to former United States Congressman Bill Luther. He has also served as a homeland security consultant and antiterrorism planner for the city of St. Paul and the state of Minnesota respectively. J.R. is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives and the American Society of Association Executives.
J.R. holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and International Relations, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from Hamline University. He enjoys the outdoors, political history and Minnesota Vikings football.
Lisa Ferrier
Account Executive
Lisa currently acts as the Conference Coordinator for the World Captive Forum, a yearly conference that attracts over 300 attendees and exhibitors. She is also the Conference Coordinator for the International Insurance Institute – Claims Education Conference, an annual conference that draws over 200 attendees and exhibitors. Lisa’s primary responsibilities include meeting, exhibit, and seminar planning and promotion.
Lisa has been with The Harrington Company since 1998 and is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and French from the University of Minnesota. Lisa enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and son. She is also an avid U of M football fan – Go Gophers!
Adrianne Fjerstad
Account Executive
Adrianne serves as Executive Assistant for the Arizona Captive Insurance Association (AzCIA) and Manager, Member Services for the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS). Her role with these two organizations includes website and e-newsletter maintenance, database management, advertising placement, sponsorship and exhibit sale coordination, conference registration, and other member-related activities. She also works as a freelance website administrator for a retail store in Michigan.
Adrianne graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. Adrianne enjoys reading, going to movies and live theater productions, and trying new restaurants in the Twin Cities.
Tasha Frey
Director of Creative Services
As Director of Creative Services for The Harrington Company, Tasha is responsible for the design, layout and production of artwork for nearly 20 associations. Her main design projects include magazines, brochures, postcards, logos and signage. Tasha also maintains print vendor relationships for The Harrington Company and its clients. She has been an award-winning graphic designer for our company since 2000.
Tasha received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from St. Cloud State University (St. Cloud, MN), specializing in Graphic Design and Sculpture. She was also a co-manager at Open Design Studio, an on-campus freelance design center.
Tasha is a long-standing member of the American Institute of Graphic Artists – MN Chapter. She is also a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives (MSAE). She has won numerous industry awards from MSAE as well as the Printing Industry of Wisconsin’s Excellence in Graphics – Best Magazine Design in 2006. Tasha also received an Outstanding Service Award from The Harrington Company in 2004.
She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with their two dogs. She is an avid cake decorator and freelance graphic designer and loves attending her monthly movie club, Flick-n-Friends.
Sherri Golden
Office Manager
As Office Manager, Sherri is responsible for the smooth operation of day-to-day business at our front desk and reception. She is charged with the responsibility of making a professional and kind first impression for each of our clients on the telephone and in person. Sherri’s other duties include ordering office supplies, managing the package delivery system, receiving and distributing mail and special client projects. She is trained in our database software and is proficient in Microsoft Office. Sherri creates an organized and resourceful office environment, which in turn helps our entire company run more efficiently.
Born and raised in Florida, Sherri attended St. Petersburg Technical College to gain computer knowledge and skills. She also attended Lynn-Benton Community College for education in Farrier Science. Prior to joining The Harrington Company, she worked as a graphic artist for a printing company and as an office manager for a construction company.
Sherri is passionate about horses and riding, and has lectured and taught classes for both English Riding and Farrier Science. She also spent quality time in Jamaica teaching Riding and Farrier Science in both the Peace Corp and the Special Olympics.
Gloria Grove
Assistant Account Executive
Gloria is the Communications Director for the National Risk Retention Association (NRRA), a national association promoting U.S.-domiciled alternatives to traditional liability insurance. Her responsibilities include coordinating registrations and sponsorships for their annual conference, working with the communication and membership chairs, coordinating continuing education credits, producing the quarterly e-newsletter, and working with the legislative committee.
Gloria is also the Assistant Director for the American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators (AIPAGIA). Her primary responsibilities include planning the two annual conferences, producing the newsletter, working with the Johnstone Educational Foundation and maintaining membership. In addition, she assists with the annual World Captive Forum conference and the International Insurance Institute – Claims Education Conference.
Gloria earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin. She is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. Gloria enjoys gardening, and participates in the Old West Society of Minnesota, a club that performs reenactments and living history from the late 1800s.
Corinna Hastings
Account Executive
Corinna currently works as the Assistant Director of the Polycom User Group, an international conferencing and collaboration user group, and as the Executive Director of the Minnesota Construction Association. Her duties include board and committee communication, development and implementation of educational programs, meeting and conference planning, membership coordination, newsletter and promotional production, and website maintenance. Prior to joining The Harrington Company, she worked as a senior housing manager with Ebenezer, a division of Fairview Health Services.
Corinna graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. She is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. Corinna enjoys scrapbooking, making cards, and cross-stitching.
Erin Helland
Assistant Account Executive
Erin works as the Membership Coordinator and Conference Administrator for the Polycom User Group, an international conferencing and collaboration user group. She also serves as the Assistant Conference Coordinator for the World Captive Forum, and the International Insurance Institute – Claims Education Conference. Her primary responsibilities include membership coordination, meeting and conference planning, and newsletter and promotion production.
Erin moved to Minnesota from South Dakota in 2002 and attended the University of St. Thomas, from which she graduated with a major in Print Journalism and a minor in Spanish. Before joining the Harrington Company she was an Editorial Intern at a company in Quito, Ecuador that produces travel guidebooks. As the Editorial Intern, Erin assisted in the writing, designing and editing of the Ecuador and Peru guidebooks and played a large role in managing and promoting their website.
Erin enjoys reading, board games, and watching movies during colder months, and being outdoors during warmer months. This summer she hopes to become an expert croquet player and spend some quality time at the lake near her home.
Kari Heltemes
Account Executive
Kari currently serves as the Association Executive for the Minnesota Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), one of 88 national and international chapters. For 75 years, IREM has been the source for education, resources, information and membership for real estate management professionals. In her role as the Minnesota Chapter Association Executive, she supports the volunteer leadership and is readily available to members. Her responsibilities include member and board communications, meeting and event planning, newsletter development, and database, financial and budget management.
Kari also works as the Membership & Communications Coordinator for the Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA). In this capacity, she maintains member records and member communications, coordinates conference registrations and works closely with committees. Prior to her work with IREM and MMGMA, Kari served as the Publications Coordinator for the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP).
Kari graduated magna cum laude from Saint Mary’s University of Winona, Minnesota with a double major in English Literature and Professional Writing. There, she served as the Editor-in-Chief for the school’s newspaper, The Cardinal. She enjoys reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Kari is also a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives.
Chuck House
Manager, Communications and Professional Development for GEAPS
Chuck provides association management services for the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS). As Manager of Communications and Professional Development, Chuck develops and implements GEAPS' member and public communications including its member newsletter, news releases, and marketing materials. He also manages the development and production of GEAPS' continuing professional education programs including support for the volunteer leadership service of its educational programming committees. Chuck joined the GEAPS’ team in 1999.
After graduating with a degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Chuck worked for more than 20 years as a reporter and editor in Wisconsin, Texas and Minnesota. Chuck has studied Spanish in Mexico, and is currently pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Chuck is also an avid guitar player.
Sara Jensen
Assistant Account Executive
Sara works closely with the Minnesota Medical Group Management Association (MMGMA), Aircraft Builders Council (ABC) and the Institute of Real Estate Management-MN Chapter 45 (IREM). In addition to helping plan conferences and educational events for the groups, Sara also provides support for various committees, assists with business partner relations and conference exhibition, and has experience with corporate sponsorship campaigns.
In addition to her involvement in association management, Sara gained marketing experience while working with The Gazette, a local newspaper in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the Liars Theatre/Campbell Steel Gallery in Marion, Iowa. She has since developed a love for event planning. As a former board member of the Advertising Federation (Cedar Rapids), Sara understands the time and commitment it takes to lead a non-profit organization.
Sara graduated suma cum laude from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with a major in Public Relations and minors in speech communication and writing. She is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. Sara enjoys listening to live music and is learning to garden.
Julia Kloehn
Account Executive
Julia serves as Membership Coordinator for the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI). Her responsibilities include various membership tasks, database management, compiling and editing newsletter content, website administration, member and chapter communications, conference registrations, continuing education approvals, and handling complaints. She also acts as chair of their website committee. Julia is also a member of the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) team providing program development and administrative support to its chapter leaders.
Julia is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Morris. Julia enjoys scrapbooking and card making.
Taryn Lendrum
Assistant Account Executive
Taryn provides support to the NAIOP, CICA and NRRA teams, as well as to other accounts. Taryn previously worked for IMG Worldwide Association Management in Lexington, Ky., managing sponsorships for the National Tour Association’s Annual Convention and Spring Meeting. Taryn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Taryn, originally from South Africa, grew up in Kentucky and recently relocated to Minnesota with her fiancé. Taryn enjoys traveling, reading, watching movies, being outdoors and planning her upcoming wedding.
Janice Linneman
Account Executive
In 2005, Janice accepted a position at The Harrington Company as the membership coordinator for the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP). Since then, she has become an Account Executive for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties – MN Chapter (NAIOP). Janice works closely with their director of public policy and public policy committee. Her responsibilities include meeting planning, coordinating the production of educational publications, coordinating the Penny-Per-Square-Foot Fund and other various administrative and organizational tasks. Janice started her professional career in the sales and marketing department at Laura Gibson, a jewelry design and manufacturing company.
Janice graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin, Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business Administration. She is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. Janice enjoys going to movies, golfing, reading, hiking, biking and cooking for her family and friends.
Karin Maida
Database Specialist
The Harrington Company has employed Karin since 1998. She is our in-house Database Specialist and her main duty is to support our internal staff by maintaining the database software, creating reports and troubleshooting. She is also responsible for the database training of all Harrington team members.
Prior to joining The Harrington Company, Karin worked for Allianz Insurance Company. She also traveled overseas to teach English in Taiwan. Her computer career budded when she worked as a behavioral and statistical researcher at a marine lab in California. Since then, Karin has been working in the association management field.
Karin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Bethel College (St. Paul, MN). She enjoys photography, has obtained a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and loves to travel with her husband and two sons.
Amy McGarrigle
Manager, Member Services and Information for GEAPS
Amy joined the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) in 2001. As Manager of Member Services and Information, Amy manages GEAPS’ member recruitment, retention and recognition programs including support for the volunteer leadership service of its Membership Committee. She is also responsible for the development and maintenance of GEAPS’ online member information system, meeting registration and publication.
Amy graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. She enjoys designing, creating and selling jewelry.
Stephanie Nero
Manager of Marketing and Communications for GEAPS
Stephanie serves as the Manager of Marketing and Communications for The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS). Her responsibilities include supplying content for and editing the GEAPS monthly newsletter, In-Grain; writing promotional materials for various GEAPS programs; and updating content on the GEAPS website. She is also involved with a marketing initiative aimed at attracting and retaining the next generation of GEAPS leaders.Stephanie graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a major in English and minors in Mass Communications and Art History. As an undergraduate, Stephanie was a teaching assistant for three years, and she has completed internships at two St. Paul, Minn., newspapers as well as a global public relations firm. Stephanie is a New York and Wisconsin native whose interests include cooking, volunteering, classic film and baseball.
Heidi Prinsen
Front Desk Operator
Heidi is currently working as a Front Desk Operator at The Harrington Company. She is responsible for assisting our Office Manager with the day-to-day front desk and reception operations. Heidi is accountable for a wide variety of general office tasks including answering the phones and special client projects.
She is currently working hard to earn an Associates degree with emphasis on Bioscience from Normandale Community College (Bloomington, MN). She enjoys exploring the great Minnesota outdoors, discovering new music, and taking the family pet to play at the dog park.
Eric Prinsen
Mail Room Clerk
Eric serves as our part-time mail room clerk, handling all outgoing client and company mail and packages. His duties include running the mail/postage machine as well as delivering pieces to the post office each day. He works hard to get many mailings for things like dues and membership drives out on time.
Eric is currently a junior at Lakeville North High School and will graduate with the Class of 2009. He has plans to attend Dakota County Technical College after high school to become a carpenter and remodeler. He enjoys working on cars, swimming, going on vacation, and taking his dog for walks at night.
Amy Sellheim
Account Executive
Amy currently serves as the Assistant Director for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties – MN Chapter (NAIOP), a professional association for individuals in the commercial real estate industry. She also serves as the Account Executive for both the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA), an international insurance association, and MN Nano, an association that promotes nanotechnology in Minnesota.
Her main responsibilities include meeting, conference and special event planning, coordinating continuing education, organizing board meetings, and tracking monthly finances.
Amy is a member of the Midwest Society of Association Executives. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations and advertising from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and singing karaoke at local hotspots.
Jason Stones
Manager, Member Services and Publications for GEAPS
As Manager of Member Services and Publishing, Jason develops designs and manages the production and distribution of all print and electronic publications for the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS). Publications include their member directory, newsletter, and promotional materials as well as conference program books and the website. He is also responsible for publication and website advertising sales. Jason joined the GEAPS’ staff team in 1998.
Jason received a Masters degree in Music Performance from the University of Minnesota. He once worked as a roadside bumblebee to attract customers to a fireworks stand. However, he got so sunburned that he only worked the job for one day.
Juli Wagner
Account Executive/Manager, Administration and Meetings Services for GEAPS
Juli has been providing association management services for the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) since 2002. She manages GEAPS’ meeting and trade show planning and production, this includes working with the facilities, providing support services and handling event sponsorships. She also worked with GEAPS from 1993-2000.
Juli has been an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 2000, dedicating herself to their Minnesota Chapter. She is currently serving as the Chair of their Rcognition Committee. She is also working to achieve her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.
Juli earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota (Morris, MN), with degree in English. She is also a Past President of the U of M-Morris Alumni Association. Juli enjoys spending time with her daughter and is passionate about gardening and the environment.
