The Harrington Company Awarded a 2009 MSAE Award

Congratulations to The Harrington Company’s Tasha Frey, Corinna Hastings, Erin Helland and Karen Wesloh for receiving a Midwest Society of Association Executives (MSAE) 2009 Award of Association Excellence in Special Events for the Polycom User Group (PUG) 2008 Annual Conference “Connecting the World.”

The MSAE Awards of Excellence recognizes association activities and programs that are making a difference within associations and the community. The awards are divided into three categories: Awards of Excellence in Public Service, Awards of Association Excellence and Awards of Communication Excellence.

The MSAE Awards of Excellence are judged by a panel of professionals familiar with association programs. Judges consider the following criteria: Goals & Objectives, Creativity, Quality, and Effectiveness/Outcomes.

The judges stated that they chose the PUG 2008 Annual Conference for the award because of the highly professional presentation and marketing pieces, the quality of the educational content, the efforts made at the conference to host a green meeting, and the positive attendee feedback which gave evidence of an excellent conference.

In addition to winning the award for Association Excellence, PUG was chosen as the top award winner in their association size range in any of the awards categories.  For that reason, their conference will be showcased at all MSAE meetings throughout the year.

The Harrington Company would like thank these team members for contributing their time and effort to this project.
