Harmonie Group Hosts Successful Spring Conference in Chicago

The Harmonie Group hosted its 2008 Spring Conference May 8-11 at the Westin Chicago River North in Chicago, Ill.  The conference had a record 17 speakers on the theme of construction issues; companies represented included Figg Engineering Group (company in charge of the design/build of the 35W bridge rebuild); Shannon & Wilson, Inc.; Pella Corporation; Turner Construction; CH2MHill; and Lafarge Corporation.

The Harmonie Group boasted near-record attendance at the Spring Conference, drawing 79 attendees from 50 law firms across the country.  Guest speaker presentations, Harmonie attorney-led panel discussions on various construction topics and breakout sessions designed to facilitate an open flow of ideas among participants all contributed to the conference’s success.

Social activities at the conference included dinner at Fulton’s on the Chicago River, a tour of Tiffany Glass throughout downtown Chicago and a tour of the Field Museum.
